I was born and raised in Bermuda, which I try to throw into conversation as much as possible. (It’s amazing how few people outside of Bermuda have even the slightest clue where it is; it’s also pretty amazing how often it’s confused with the Bahamas).
I was baptized into Christ on June 6, 1999. Since that time, I discovered I love to teach God’s word, and haven’t slowed down since. I’ve taught teen and adult bible classes, preached part-time, done home bible studies and so on. In fact, I still do all of that.
I married Bridget on Feb 2, 2006. She grew up in the church, so if I can’t figure out what’s going on, I just ask my wife at home ;)… She is an incredible support to me; God could not have chosen a better vehicle through which to pour His blessings into my life.
I have a son named Ezra, who seems to get older every time I blink. I turned around not long ago, and he was 11 years old (I’m like, when did that happen?). God uses him to teach me quite a bit. I hope he is learning from me as much as I am learning from him.
I enjoy a good book, time with my family, and an intelligent conversation. I love playing with my son, nieces and nephews, and kids in general. I love to teach – nothing is more fulfilling to me. I try to do it all to the glory of God.
My ministry goals are simply to use my gift of teaching to build up the Lord’s church, wherever I am. Right now, “wherever I am” happens to be the Montwood Church of Christ in El Paso, TX.
God is in the driver’s seat and I am enjoying the ride…
